DIGITAL MEDIA
FORMS OF DIGITAL MEDIA:
BIT: A BIT or Binary Digit is a unit of information in computing and telecommunications
BYTE: A BYTE is a unit of information in computing and telecommunications that mostly consists of 8 Bits
SAMPLE RATE: defines the number of samples per second taken from a continuous signal to form a discrete signal
[IMAGE: http://www.cisco.com/image/gif/paws/109057/KB16717_002_EN.jpg]
The higher the colour depth, the broader the range of distinct colours, if the colour depth is affected so is the colour of the image
FORMS OF DIGITAL MEDIA:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 1 BIT ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
********************** 24 BIT ********************
Sampling Rate does not affect still images like colour depth does because Still images do not produce a continuous signal like a video didgital media does.
